What Stimulus?

Thanks to the bill called McCain-Feingold

To Soros, the Democratic Party’s been sold

Obama and company are following his lead

For his money, they respond in deed

They crafted up something called “Stimulus”

That buys votes for them, but screws the U. S.

For it creates debt that can never be paid

Our children’s children should be afraid

The “Stimulus” bill was created in haste

So the public wouldn’t find out how bad it taste

And say “No!” to this monstrosity full of pork

Now the taxpayers have to eat it, where’s the fork?

It was touted as a “bi-partisan” success

But “BUY-partisan” is how you would call it best

For they bought the corrupt Republican three

By giving them things they wanted to see

And most “fiscally conservative” Dems were NOT

It’s sad to note that they too were bought

And jumped right into the partisan tent

And ignored the citizens they represent

And in a blatant assault on this great nation

Citizens with Republican Reps were denied representation

For them to participate, they had to agree

But, that’s not how it’s done in the land of the free

“We won, you lost!” is the Democrat rant

While the vestiges of liberty are becoming more and more scant

Our vaunted republic is no longer free

We are quickly degrading towards tyranny

A government of, for, and by the people no longer exists

Now its government to the people, and with iron fist

The party in power accepts no dissent

We’ve no longer a voice in how our money is spent

They ignore the oath by which they swore

Now the Constitution is becoming a legend of yore

There are no statesmen who put the nation first

The partisan policies are now at their worst

So impeach the President and VP, too

And the whole of Congress, they don’t represent you

For they spend your money, and give you no say

Let’s fire them all, and start afresh, today!
